Use of third parties
University Hospitals Birmingham Charity has contracts in place with University Hospitals Birmingham NHS Foundation Trust for the purposes of providing accounting & financial support, with Blackbaud Europe Ltd for the purposes of providing database support, and with Mazars and RSM for the purposes of providing audit support. Any data shared with these companies is still subject to this Privacy notice and the companies have confirmed their compliance with the relevant data protection legislation.
Retention of data
University Hospitals Birmingham Charity holds your data for the purposes of providing services you have requested, or where there is a legitimate business interest (such as the requirement to keep Gift Aid forms for a period of 6 years).
Where University Hospitals Birmingham Charity identifies no further need to keep your data it will be deleted.

Join us for a bike ride to remember, an adventure across coasts, whilst helping raise vital funds for the Giles Trust Brain Tumour Fund, raising vital funds for brain tumour research, pioneering equipment and support for brain tumour patients and their families.
Departing from the coast of West Cumbria at Whitehaven, this challenging cycle stretches for 200km until reaching the North Sea at Whitley Bay. You will get to experience the beauty of the Northumbrian scenery, with the picturesque route which crosses the northern edge of the Lake District, then climbs into the dramatic landscapes of the northern Pennines. Following the ancient fringes of Hadrian’s Wall, it then heads down to the coastline of Whitley Bay.
Sign up for a registration fee of £95, and the Giles Trust Brain Tumour Fund is asking you to raise a minimum of £1000 in sponsorship.

A new book has been launched and features our own Stine Giles and her inspirational story. The book, Inspirational Women, Inspirational Lives is published by the Ladies First network and is available on Amazon " all proceeds are in aid of their chosen charity The Katie Piper Foundation. Titled 'Inspirational Women, Inspirational Lives' the book is packed with personal, stories of women who have overcome adversity or who have achieved great success. As quoted by success coach, Sharron Lowe " The combined characteristics and CAN- DO positive energy force of our individual finalists could light up a city. The thread that joins everone is that each finalist has a unique voice and these stories give us a depth , a knowledge and a motivation to keep going whatever our circumstances."
